Default Basic Carbine Training, 13 Feb, Range 37/Bunnlevel NC

Defensive Concepts North Carolina will be teaching our 1 day Basic Carbine course on 13 February 2010 in Bunnlevel, NC at Range 37. If anyone is interested, feel free to contact me through site PM or email me at chris@defensiveconceptsnc.com . You can also register for the class by going here.

Here is a brief run down about the course:

Basic Carbine

The Basic Carbine course is designed to provide each student with the core skills needed to properly use the carbine in a safe and effective manner in defensive situations. The course curriculum covers the following topics: marksmanship fundamentals (sight alignment, sight picture, trigger manipulation, zeroing of sights), carbine manipulation (loading, unloading, malfunction clearance), and extensive shooting drills at various distances using several shooting positions. This is a one day class.

The course tuition is $150 plus range fee.

Students will need:
1 semi-auto carbine (AR15, AK, Mini-14, etc) with a Minimum of 3 Magazines
A method of carrying 3 magazines on the firing line
500 Rounds of Ammunition
Pen/Pencil and Paper
Ear and Eye Protection
Hand cleaner might be a good thing too

Remember the CSF discount that is currently in effect. When you complete our online registration, mention that you are a CSF member and list your screen name in order to receive a 10% discount. If you get a friend to attend the course with you, and they mention your name when enrolling, you will get an additional 5% off of the course tuition.

this sounds like a good course. I would like to take it some day...how often do you offer it..incase I missed it somewhere

I was really set to do this, but my fiance claimed me that weekend for wedding planning.

Maybe next time I'll be able to attend.

I'm registered for this class. Wish I had seen the CSF discount prior. Should be a good time. Looking forward to checking out Range 37 also.
