There is a Denny's at the exit off 77 at 4145 Sunset Rd.

I'll be there. There's also a Bob Evans off that same exit.

Hi Guys,
Is this show generally large enough that it would be worth the drive from Mitchell County, NC? (approx 140 miles each way) Also, how is parking?

Thanks!
James

I would rate gun shows that I have been too. Greensboro #1, Raleigh #2, Charlotte #3. I would rate Charlotte a little above Winston Salem, Fayetteville, Asheville, Hickory. Parking is OK and free.

I would say that the Dixie show in Charlotte is one of the largest shows in the area. Whether it is worth the drive or not, depends on what you are looking for in a show. If you are looking for some mystical deal, your probably not going to find it. The "traveling museums" are present, but if your expectations are more real world and your not going to be suicidal if you leave empty handed, you might enjoy the show. Parking is more than adequate. Building 1 is usually crowded, especially near the front and down the right side of the building.

Bailey Boat, are you going down Sat or Sun? I may have to head up to Winston Sat.

I live no more than a mile from Denny's (off Sunset & Beatties Ford). Denny's is off Exit 16 off I-77 and Bob Evans is off Exit 25 off I-77 so no one gets confused. Wasn't sure I wanted to post this since I'm one of the new guys. I'll be there Saturday morning when the gates open.

Looks like Bob Evans is the place to go on Sunday Morning. Want to plan on being there around 9 AM? A few of us will be coming in from Greensboro area. Got good directions to Bob's?

Thanks!
