I come down 85 South, catch 77 North to exit 16 (I think it's 16A) off exit make a right,(you should be heading east) go to stop light turn left and you cant miss it, big building on right with signs.

Anyone else disappointed in the show? It seemed to me to have less used guns than the last two I've been to. A few deals here and there on some new stuff but not a very good selection of used guns at all. I did see a table that had some nice handmade knives in the back right corner of the main building but outside of that I could have skipped the show altogether.

This makes three shows in a row without a purchase. The used market is absolutely ridiculous. I think it's time to move on to a new hobby.

I was there early this afternoon. The crowd was crazy; and too many people that did not know what they were doing getting advice from others that didn't know anything either. I saw a guy telling his girlperson that she should get a small revolver because a 38 doesn't kick much and the Glock 19 she was looking at and really wanted was too much gun for her. Just one example of the stupidity that I witnessed. Also lots of Hi-point rifles going out the door as well as Shotguns.
Looks like the citizens of Charlotte are about to take matters in their own hands. Be afraid, be very afraid!!!!!!!

I thought it was the best show in a while. The second building was jammed full of vendors and the third building, while still not great had more guns in it than non-guns like usual. My buddy..bastard...got a nw HP USPc .40 in stainless. We've both been looking for one for a while but I'm not in the market right now. Glad he got it though.

Also, the weather brought out a lot of people looking to sell..the tables outside were packed.

Default doH!

Witnessed: Same obese man in powerchair taking up the aisle, No CSF Attire, Some insanely overpriced AR-15's, One good priced AR-15 (the only thing I brought home), Some decent priced .223 ammo ($115 wolf, $135 brown bear, $220 some brass i forgot the name of for 500 rounds.), HUGE crowds, very filled tables, but as stated before, the used selection is almost non existant. Not many deals to be had, but if you have the patience to fight the crowds, there were a few there. Worth the $7 just for the amusement of hearing some of the nonsense that comes from some peoples mouths (reference back to .38 revolver vs. glock comment above). Either way, not a GREAT show, but definitely worth a peak.

Randy's is always there; usually in building 2.

I was fairly disappointed in the show as well. I don't think I'll bother going to anymore, at least in the near future.

Best part of the show: "What caliber is that glock?" "357 sig" "What do you mean sig? Thought it was a glock?" "It is, it's a 357 sig" "Is it a damn glock or a Sig?" Guy was politely asked to walk away but I am not sure he could hear the guy over my laughter.

Did pick up a cheap Remington O/U to shoot some clays with. Saw a good deal on a FN Shotgun set up for 3 gun in building B, How does OBX sell their guns for so much less than everyone else? Glock 22 Gen 4 for $509, Glock 27 for $469. DPH had a good buy on AR-15, think it was Harris Guns from Eastern NC. $625 for the complete with a case.

I was impressed w/ the holsters I saw from www.universalholsters.com, www.n82tactical.com and www.reedgunleather.com - good workmanship and friendly

found ppks at carolinas guns and gold for $552 cash tax included - can I get a better price than this?

from American Tactical pawn
Glock G32 FS $480 - I wanted a NS in it
Glock G23 NS $550 - no .357 barrel for G32

There were a ton of vendors at the Charlotte show but the used selection was a a good bit better at Hickory. I guess I'll the next show in Asheville and see how it is or else wait for Hickory.

I suppose it really depends on what you're looking for as to what makes a good show but I had a list of about 4 or 5 rifles that I was looking for with a couple being fairly common and didn't see a thing. Too bad I'm not really into handguns I could have found something for sure.

Went Sat. morning walked halfway down first row on left. Guy had NIB Walther PPK/S Interarms for $550 out the door. I was going to buy but another guy had already said he would take it . That was all that I found that I wanted. Probably will pass on next show.

Got tied up, had some extra people ride down on Sunday, and did not get to Bob Evans in time. The show did have 'some' good deals, a few vendors did hagle a little. Took down a Sig to trade, got offers from $400 to $170 in trade on another Sig. Amazing on how some people can sleep. LOL. Overall, I did pick up the things I needed, CLP some new Magpul mags w/window, etc.
