Default Bubba strikes again

This is why I hate to even look at "sporterized" milsurps on gunbroker. Its one thing if you want to take a beat up, common milsurp that has been damaged and professionally sporterized it and give it a second chance. Its another thing to do this. This No. 1 MK III Enfield was posted for sale of gunbroker, apparently there are even hacksaw marks around the barrel because they didn't remove the stock when they hacked it. Oh, the humanity!

Absolutely agree-as a matter of fact, I have a yugo sks that I have bubba'd- but I'm not gonna do some poor work, then try to pass it on to someone else like I'm proud of it or something.

a well done sporterize job can be a good thing, if it is done right. It's only when someone has butchered an otherwise great gun that I cringe over. If you know what your doing, more power to you.

Thanks for posting this.... I was just considering sporterizing my #4 Mk1. I love the action, but it's just too damn long and unwieldy for my taste.

I think Sovereign guns has a sporterized enfield for sale on their Gunbroker ad. Maybe you could sell your unsporterized one and get the one already done. Probably get extra money in your pocket from the price difference. And that leaves one more enfield for me LOL
